Engineering Overview
Qrius (formerly The Indian Economist) - India News is a news/article based app with 100,000+ downloads and more than 14,000 reviews on the Play Store. The company's website was made in WordPress with an API returning HTML data in the body object in JSON response. Using Regular Expression, I parsed all code and made a custom plugin to fulfill the custom requirements including bookmarks, offline article storage, daily/weekly/monthly read target bar charts, and Realm database integration.
